CUSTOM BUILD
As of 2012 there have been many law changes in the fitting of tow bars to motor homes. If your vehicle is registered before late 2012 then there is no need to have a type-approved towbar system. If it is a type approved system you are looking for then click over on the Type-Approved Towbars page.
With three generations of motorhome towbar fitters here at Towtal, we are dedicated in giving the best service on the market and supplying the right product to you and your Camper, Motorhome or RV.
Motor home towbars have a different aspect of fitting than car towbars, as they have a multitude of extras under the rear. Your RV could be with or without Battery Boxes, spare wheel holders, water tanks, corner steadies or diesel Heaters. There may also be a Witter, Sawiko chassis, Al-Ko extension or Lineppe fixings (all of which we are main agents for).
So, when our team of designers, engineers and fitters approach your camper van, they are aware, ready and willing to work around any of the issues you may have.
Every one of our motorhome towbars are custom made to fit your motorhome or RV perfectly, with a range of styles and colours for you to pick from. 99% of the custom built tow bars that we fit have a full width bumper included and you can see some pictures on the gallery or click here.
The full fitting process, that includes 7-Pin electrics as standard, takes a full working day and has to be done here in Stoke-On-Trent. We take the manufactures recommended mounting points and use our decades of knowledge to give you a safe and secure towing experience. We can fit our bespoke tow bars on Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, VW T5, Iveco, Mercedes, Renault and the ever growing Alko versions of chassis.
Even though some companies struggle to quote on the exact pricing structure, here at TOWtal, one phone call or email will get you the exact price for your towing needs.
You’ll soon find that a motorhome tow bar is an ideal extra, whether it be for towing a trailer or for using a bike, scooter or motorcycle carrier and has the added advantage of acting as a secondary bumper, protecting your rear panels.
