Shower Tray Repairs – CURRENTLYT UNAVAILABLE
Whether there is a small crack, a series of splinters or an actual hole in your shower/bathroom tray, bring your Caravan or Motorhome to us and we can repair it.
To stop the crack or splinter spreading, the first thing we need to do is make more holes. This way we can relieve the stress that causes the crack. Then if the shower floor is “spongy” we back fill with a low expansion foam, this has to left to set for 6 hours.
When the whole basin is sanded and cleaned we use a two-part resin to rebuild the shape and structure. It’s built up over 3 layers and again left for 2 hours to set.

Once that has set, we need to flat down the existing resin and remove any chemicals or other sealants that have come into contact with the surface and prepare for the top coat. We also need to seal and mask all around the bathroom area.
Once we’re at this stage we can apply a sprayable coat of rubberised semi-smooth polymer over the complete shower tray or bathroom floor. This will completely seal the shower tray leaving a slightly textured, anti-slip finish. Once cured it will create a strong thick coating allowing the shower tray to be used once again.
The plastic shower tray repair is done without taking the plastic shower tray out of the Motorhome, Caravan or RV and with very little mess.
